Full-Time | 5 Days per Week | Lewisham

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Science Technician to join a welcoming and supportive school in Lewisham.

We are looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Science Technician with previous experience working in a school or laboratory environment. A relevant degree is preferred, alongside a strong understanding of science practicals, laboratory procedures, and health and safety.

• Prepare and set up practical experiments and demonstrations across Science subjects.
• Maintain and organise laboratories, equipment, chemicals and resources.
• Support teaching staff and students during practical lessons.
• Ensure all laboratory activities comply with health and safety requirements.
• Manage stock levels and order equipment and materials when required.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure equipment is safe and ready for use.
• Contribute to a positive, organised and engaging learning environment.

• Previous experience as a Science Technician is essential.
• Strong knowledge of Science and practical laboratory procedures.
• A relevant degree or qualification is preferred.
• Good understanding of laboratory health and safety.
• Organised, reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Enthusiastic about supporting students and contributing to their learning.
