Secondary HLTA

📢 The Role

Exclusive Education are looking to recruit a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support at a welcoming secondary school in the Bolton area.

🎓 Role & Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 and 4 in a range of subjects
• Work alongside teachers to support lesson delivery and classroom activities
• Deliver targeted interventions and small group sessions to support student progress
• Provide one-to-one support for students where required, including those with additional needs
• Assist with preparation of classroom resources and learning materials
• Promote positive behaviour and support classroom management strategies
• Monitor and report on student progress to teaching staff
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment

✅ Requirements

• HLTA or Level 3 TA Qualification 
• Experience supporting students across KS3 and KS4 is ideal but primary or other settings are accepted 
• Good understanding of classroom practices and behaviour management
• A proactive, flexible, and supportive approach
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
