Teaching Personnel is recruiting an experienced Secondary School Business Manager to work within a thriving secondary school in Bradford. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and motivated individual to become a key member of the school's leadership team.
⚠️ Essential Requirements- Previous experience working as a School Business Manager within a UK school is ESSENTIAL. Applications without this experience will not be considered.
- A willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS Certificate with Children's Barred List Check (or already hold one on the DBS Update Service).
- Strong knowledge of school finance, HR, compliance, and operational management.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Lead the school's financial planning, budgeting, and reporting.
- Manage HR administration, recruitment, contracts, and personnel records.
- Oversee the management of school premises, facilities, and health & safety.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding, statutory regulations, and school policies.
- Manage procurement and supplier contracts to ensure value for money.
- Support the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team with strategic business planning.
- Line manage administrative and support staff where appropriate.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with governors, external agencies, and stakeholders.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
