Monarch Education is working in partnership with a range of Primary schools across the Rochdale area, to recruit Teaching Assistants who are confident supporting pupils with additional needs from EYFS to Year 6.

Whether you're looking for daily supply, short-term assignments, long-term placements or a route into a permanent role, we can offer flexibility to suit your availability.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities
  • Work alongside teachers and SENCOs to deliver targeted support
  • Assist with learning, engagement and emotional well being
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
  • Help create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment
  • Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups where required

We're looking for:

  • Experienced Teaching Assistants, care workers or youth workers, who have experience working with children in some capacity.
  • Confidence supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, SLD or other additional needs
  • A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential
