Spencer Clarke Group are currently recruiting for Secondary Teachers to work across a variety of schools in Darlington and the surrounding areas.

Whether you're looking for flexible day-to-day supply, short-term assignments or a long-term placement, we have opportunities to suit your availability, experience and preferred subjects.

As a Secondary Supply Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work across a range of schools and year groups, delivering high-quality lessons and supporting pupils in the absence of their regular teacher.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering engaging lessons across your specialist subject or the wider curriculum.
• Following lesson plans and adapting learning activities where required.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively.
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Supporting students with their learning and development.
• Building positive relationships with pupils and school staff.
• Providing feedback to the school where appropriate.
• Following school policies and safeguarding procedures.

• Qualified Secondary Teachers with QTS.
• Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
• Experienced supply teachers.
• Teachers returning to the profession.

• Subject specialists across English, Maths, Science, Humanities, MFL, PE, Technology, Art, Music and more.
• Teachers with experience across KS3 and KS4.
