Create Education are currently looking for a qualified, experienced and passionate SEN Secondary English Teacher to work within a specialist SEN school based in Maidstone.

The role is available on a permanent basis, offering a salary of up to £42,000 per year, depending on experience and suitability for the role.
Job Description – SEN Secondary English Teacher – Maidstone

- Teaching English to Secondary-aged students
- Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated and accessible English lessons
- Supporting students to develop their literacy, communication and confidence
- Working with students with a range of additional needs
- Adapting lessons and resources to meet individual student needs
- Working closely with teaching assistants and wider support staff
- Creating a positive, structured and inclusive classroom environment
- Monitoring student progress and contributing to individual learning plans
- Based in Maidstone
- Salary: up to £42,000 per year
- UK QTS is essential
- At least 1 year's teaching experience within a school
- Qualified and experienced in teaching English at Secondary level
- Experience working within either SEN or mainstream education
- A strong understanding of SEN and additional needs
- Previous experience working with SEN students is desirable
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Passionate about supporting young people to achieve their potential
