Aspire People are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work across a variety of secondary schools in Rugby.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build their experience within education, or for an experienced Teaching Assistant who enjoys working in different school environments and supporting pupils with a range of needs.

The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers and support staff to help pupils access their education and reach their full potential.

Depending on the school and the needs of the pupils, your responsibilities may include:

Providing 1:1 support to pupils who require additional assistance.
Working with small groups to support learning and engagement.
Supporting children and young people with additional needs, including SEND.
Helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and develop their confidence.
Supporting classroom activities and assisting teachers with lessons.
Providing encouragement and positive reinforcement to students.
Supporting pupils with their social, emotional and behavioural development.
Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils.
Working as part of a supportive school team to create an inclusive learning environment.

About You
We are looking for candidates who are:

Passionate about supporting children and young people.
Patient, caring and approachable.
Confident working with pupils with additional needs/SEND.
Comfortable providing both 1:1 and small-group support.
Able to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
Reliable, adaptable and willing to work across different school environments.
A positive role model who can encourage and motivate students.
Previous experience working in a school or education setting is desirable. However, we also welcome applications from people with relevant experience in care, youth work, mentoring, coaching or other roles supporting children and young people.
