Section Engineer | Highways Project | King's Lynn, Norfolk | £350/day Outside IR35 Section Engineer required for a major highways infrastructure project near King's Lynn, Norfolk, working with a leading Tier 1 contractor on a long-term National Highways scheme. The Role As Section Engineer, you will support the successful delivery of highways and civil engineering works, ensuring safety, quality and programme targets are achieved. Responsibilities
- Setting out and surveying for highways and civil engineering works.
- Managing subcontractors and site operations.
- Completing QA documentation, ITPs and inspection records.
- Producing and reviewing RAMS.
- Supporting drainage, earthworks, pavement and structures packages.
- Maintaining accurate as-built records.
- Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with specifications and programme requirements.
- Promoting excellent health, safety and environmental standards.
- Previous experience as a Section Engineer, Site Engineer or Senior Engineer on highways or major infrastructure projects.
- Strong setting out experience.
- Experience with QA documentation and ITPs.
- CSCS card essential.
- Civil Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree preferred).
- Knowledge of NEC contracts desirable.
- Full UK driving licence.
