Our client, a leading provider of facilities services in the UK, Our client, a leading provider of facilities services in the UK, are looking for a Security Assurance Manager to provide technical leadership and assurance across a diverse portfolio of electronic security systems, ensuring they remain compliant, effective and aligned with industry standards and customer requirements.

We are seeking an experienced security professional to lead audits, inspections and compliance activities while supporting operational teams with expert guidance and governance. This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility of home-based working alongside regular travel to sites throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead security compliance audits, inspections and assurance reviews across multiple sites.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, industry standards, governance frameworks and contractual requirements.
  • Develop, review and maintain security policies, procedures and technical standards.
  • Provide expert technical guidance on CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems.
  • Review security system designs, maintenance strategies and asset lifecycle plans.
  • Monitor contractor and supplier performance, ensuring compliance and service excellence.
  • Investigate security system failures, vulnerabilities and incidents, implementing corrective actions where required.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and best practice across security operations.

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Extensive experience within electronic security systems, security technology or security assurance environments.
  • Strong technical knowledge of:
    • CCTV Systems
    • Access Control Systems
    • Intruder Alarm Systems
  • Experience conducting audits, inspections, compliance reviews or assurance activities.
  • Strong understanding of security risk management and control measures.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, industry standards and best practice relating to electronic security systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing contractors, specialist suppliers and third-party service providers.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally on a regular basis..

Additional Information

This is a hybrid role that combines home-based working with regular travel to sites throughout the UK. Applicants should be comfortable travelling nationally to conduct audits, inspections and assurance reviews as required.
