Description
E-ppl Ltd is recruiting a dedicated team of Vehicle Technicians to deliver a critical fleet maintenance package at our Ashchurch site. Working as part of an autonomous E-ppl team under an outcomes-based package of work, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational readiness, safety, and regulatory compliance of Stored and Sustainment Fleet platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspection & Servicing: Carry out diagnostic inspections, routine servicing, and repairs on designated vehicle platforms.
- Rectification & Prep: Perform follow-on maintenance to ensure safety and full compliance ahead of Mandatory Equipment Inspections.
- Fleet Upgrades: Bring vehicles up to required operational standards.
- Quality Assurance: Execute reworks and rectify defects identified during examination stages.
- Safety First: Maintain strict adherence to site Health & Safety policies at all times.
Requirements
- Security Clearance: Must be willing to undergo BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) checks. E-ppl will fully sponsor and manage this process.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician (military, commercial, or fleet experience is highly desirable).
- Qualifications: Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Skills: Strong diagnostic capabilities and familiarity with fleet asset tracking.
- PPE: Ability to provide your own standard coveralls and safety footwear.
Benefits
Competitive Pay: £19.00 per hour
Working Pattern: 39 hours per week (Monday to Friday), with flexibility for overtime and shift variations as needed
Daily Allowance: £25.00 tax-free per day to cover expenses and meals (location-dependent)
Hotel Lodging: Fully funded hotel accommodation provided (location-dependent)
Travel Expense: 45p per mile mileage allowance, calculated from your location (capped up to the Evo-to-Stockport route)
