A well-established engineering business in Poole is looking to recruit a reliable Semi Skilled Metal Worker to join their production team. This is a great opportunity for a practical, hands-on Semi Skilled Metal Worker who is keen to develop their skills within a busy and supportive workshop environment.

The role is working a day shift Monday to Friday with an early finish on Friday and paying £15ph

Key Responsibilities for the successful Semi-Skilled Metal worker:
  • Assist in the fabrication and assembly of metal products
  • Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and deburring components
  • Work closely with experienced welders and fabricators across various projects
  • Follow engineering drawings and manufacturing instructions
  • Perform quality checks to ensure work meets required standards
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and tidy workshop environment
Essential Skills & Experience required to be considered for this Semi-Skilled Metal worker position:
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or workshop environment such as fabrication support. 
  • Basic understanding of metalwork or fabrication processes
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail and a positive attitude
