About the Role

Opus People Solutions are seeking a dedicated SEN Case Officer to join our Statutory Assessment Team on behalf of client. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with Special Educational Needs.

Role Overview

As a SEN Case Officer, your primary focus will be to:

  • Work through the statutory assessment backlog.
  • Draft Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Manage the associated casework in line with statutory timelines and best practice.
  • Liaise with families, schools, and professionals to ensure high-quality, person-centred plans.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in SEN casework and statutory processes.
  • Strong understanding of SEND Code of Practice and EHCP legislation.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage a complex caseload independently and efficiently.

Working Arrangements

  • This role is fully remote, with equipment provided.
