The Role… SEN One to One Teacher

This is a rewarding opportunity as a SEN One to One Teacher working closely with pupils on a one-to-one basis within specialist settings across Halifax. You will provide tailored educational support to students with a variety of SEN needs, helping them to engage with learning, build confidence, and achieve positive outcomes.

Working alongside Specialist staff and support teams, you will deliver personalised lessons and adapt teaching approaches to suit each pupil's learning style and individual targets. You will play a key role in creating a supportive and encouraging environment where pupils can feel safe, motivated, and successful.

As a SEN One to One Teacher, you will be…
* An experienced and qualified teacher with a background supporting children or young people with SEN or additional needs
* Confident in adapting lessons and learning strategies to meet individual pupil needs
* Patient, resilient, and able to build positive relationships with students
* Passionate about supporting pupil progress, wellbeing, and independence
