About the RoleYou'll work closely with teachers and other professionals to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including:
- Autism (ASC)
- ADHD
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)
- Speech, Language and Communication Needs
- Moderate, Severe and Profound Learning Difficulties
- Complex and Medical Needs
Your responsibilities may include:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support.
- Encouraging communication, independence and social development.
- Supporting pupils with emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies.
- Assisting with learning activities tailored to individual needs.
- Helping to create a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment.
- Celebrating every success—big or small.
We're looking for caring, patient and enthusiastic individuals who are committed to making a positive difference.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Experience supporting children or vulnerable adults (education, care, residential or healthcare settings).
- A positive, adaptable and proactive approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
