Salary: Outer London MPS £34,514 – £44,525 + SEN Allowance £2,539 – £5,009

SEN Teacher – Hemel Hempstead – Small Class Setting We are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a specialist school in Hemel Hempstead on a permanent basis from September.
This is a highly rewarding opportunity to work within a KS2 setting, teaching a small class of 3–6 pupils, allowing for a truly personalised and impactful approach to learning.
About the Role:
  • Teaching a KS2 class of 3–6 pupils with Special Educational Needs
  • Planning and delivering tailored, differentiated lessons
  • Creating a structured, nurturing, and inclusive environment
  • Working closely with Teaching Assistants and external specialists
  • Supporting pupils with EHCPs and individual learning plans
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
  • Proven experience working within an SEN setting
  • Strong understanding of needs such as ASD, SEMH, ADHD or MLD
  • Excellent behaviour management and communication skills
  • A patient, resilient, and compassionate approach
