Hours of Work: Full-time teaching hours

About the Role
We are looking to recruit an experienced teacher with a strong background in supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Are you an experienced teacher with experience of teaching children with SEND?

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and teach groups of children with SEND to support their knowledge and understanding of the core subjects, including phonics.
- Conduct key SEND assessments to support the SENDCo.
- Maintain, order and develop SEND resources for staff and pupils.
- Support teachers with the writing of ISP plans, including EAL plans, and quality assure those plans.
- Provide support and guidance to teaching staff around effective strategies for pupils with SEND, including team-teaching where appropriate.
- Liaise with key agencies and parents regarding all areas of SEND.
- Cover classes when required.
