## SEN Teaching Assistant – Join a Supportive Primary School in Havering

Fusion Staffing is recruiting an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Havering from September.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by supporting children with Autism (ASD), helping them to thrive both academically and socially within the classroom.

## The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Autism (ASD).
  • Help children access the curriculum through tailored learning strategies.
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
  • Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider support staff.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
  • Support children with communication, social interaction and independence.

## What We're Looking For

To be considered, you must have:

At least 1 year's experience supporting children with Autism (ASD) in a school or similar educational setting. A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A patient, caring and proactive approach. The right to work in the UK. An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one).
