Sen Teaching Assistant

We are working with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Chelsea SW10, who are looking for a SEN TA to support a child in Reception with medical needs (seizures and mobility issues) on a full-time, long-term basis.
You will be based in the school from 8.30am-12pm then in the home of the child in the afternoon to 3.30pm.
Location: Chelsea SW10
Start Date: September 2026
Role: SEN TA – child in Reception – school AND home based
Contract: Full‑time, term time only, for one year initially
The Role:
- Provide one-to-one support for a Reception pupil with SEND in both classroom and home settings.
- Adapt learning activities and resources to meet EHCP targets and individual learning needs.
- Deliver targeted interventions to develop communication, early literacy, numeracy and independence.
- Implemented behaviour support, sensory regulation and AAC strategies to promote engagement.
- Worked collaboratively with teachers, therapists and parents to ensure consistent support and positive outcomes..
About You:
- Experience working with children with SEN within Early Years
- A warm, patient, and nurturing approach.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and families.
- Understanding of child development and the EYFS framework.
