SEN Teaching Assistant – September Start

£92 – £110 per day (depending on experience)
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in the NE5 area of Newcastle from September.
This rewarding role involves supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential within the classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN.
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Support students with their academic, social, and emotional development.
- Implement strategies and interventions tailored to individual needs.
- Foster a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment.
- Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential.
- A patient, caring, and proactive approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Must hold a valid Child and Adult DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one prior to employment.
- Competitive daily rates of £92–£110 per day.
