Tradewind Recruitment in Whitstable is currently working with a number of SEN schools across the Thanet area who are looking to recruit dedicated, compassionate and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join their teams.
If you are passionate about supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), this is an excellent opportunity to build a rewarding career while making a genuine difference to pupils' lives.
The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including:
- Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- ADHD
- Speech and Language needs
- Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD)
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- Complex medical and sensory needs
You'll help pupils access learning, develop confidence, build independence and celebrate every achievement, no matter how big or small.
