SENCO Competative daily rate DOE (Umbrella) | Interim with view for permanent | ASAP start

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced SENCo to join a mainstream primary setting in East London on an interim basis, with a long-term view to permanent.

The Role

You will take a leading role across SEND provision, with responsibilities including:

  • Leading and managing SEND provision across the school
  • Managing EHCP applications, annual reviews and related processes
  • Working confidently with Local Authorities and external professionals
  • Supporting and developing staff around SEND
  • Contributing to and delivering the school's SEND strategy
  • Providing guidance and support to ECTs, 1:1 staff and wider teams
  • Helping ensure SEND systems, processes and paperwork are organised and effective
About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • An experienced SENCO with strong knowledge of SEND and EHCP processes
  • NASENCo qualified - desirable
  • QTS required 
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership
  • A strong communicator with the ability to engage and develop staff
  • Confident using technology and SEND systems
  • Primary, early years or SEMH experience would be advantageous
