The school provides a nurturing, inclusive and supportive environment where every student is encouraged to achieve their full potential through personalised learning, specialist support and a strong focus on developing independence and communication skills.

The school is looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant on a flexible, day-to-day basis from September. The successful Learning Support Assistant will support children and young people with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), physical disabilities and communication difficulties both in and out of the classroom. The role will involve supporting learning activities, encouraging independence and providing personal care, including feeding and toileting, where required.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:

• Experience supporting children and young people with PMLD, physical disabilities and communication difficulties
• Experience providing personal care, including feeding and toileting
• A caring, patient and compassionate approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to adapt to the individual needs of each student
• A positive attitude and willingness to get involved in all aspects of school life
