Axcis Education are working with a local primary school near Walsall, seeking a nurturing teaching assistant, supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone from a care background, experienced with supporting an array of young people with complex needs. The school are dedicated to nurturing their children, ensuring they are provided with a caring, inclusive and inspiring learning environment. This is a full -time Teaching Assistant position starting in September, working everyday Monday to Friday. The role will involve supporting children with varying complex needs. In this role, candidates will be paid £92.63 per day.
The Role
- Supporting children between the ages of 4 to 11
- Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
- Provide students with personalised and tailored support for all individual needs
- Build meaningful, positive relationships with all students
- Bring a calming influence to the classroom
Requirements
- Previous experience supporting young people with SEND
- A caring and patient nature, with the ability to foster positive and meaningful relationships with all pupils
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
- Availability to work 8:30am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
