Hays Education is urgently recruiting experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work in specialist SEN schools across Manchester.

🎓 Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and group support for students with a range of special educational needs
• Assist in delivering Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
• Support classroom teachers with behaviour management and student engagement
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
• Collaborate with SEN professionals, including speech therapists and educational psychologists
• Track and report on student progress and development

📋 Requirements:

• Essential:
  Experience working with children, ideally in an SEN setting
• Optional:
  Experience in a healthcare or care worker role - if you have worked with people with SEN then we want to hear from you!
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive, adaptable, and compassionate approach
