SEND Teaching Assistant

💷 Daily Rate : £90 - 120 a day (depenedant on experience)

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic SEND Secondary School in SE11. This rewarding role involves supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and helping them to achieve their full potential in a nurturing and supportive learning environment.

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with ASD.
• Support pupils both inside and outside the classroom.
• Assist with implementing individual education plans (IEPs).
• Encourage positive behaviour and social development.
• Work closely with teachers, therapists and the wider SEND team.
• Help create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment.

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND, particularly ASD.
• Patient, resilient and empathetic approach.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs.
• Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential.
