The setting is committed to delivering personalised support, encouraging independence and ensuring every child is given the opportunity to thrive.

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis starting in September. The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will be working on a 1:1 basis with a number of children with a range of complex SEND needs, supporting both their educational and personal development while promoting positive outcomes throughout the school day.

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:

• Previous experience working with children with SEND is essential
• Experience supporting children with a range of complex additional needs
• A patient, caring and adaptable approach to supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
• The ability to work effectively as part of a wider school team
