Salary: £100 - £115 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a large three-form entry primary school in the heart of Leeds, seeking to appoint a SEND Teaching Assistant. The school is committed to providing an inclusive learning environment where every child is encouraged to thrive, with a dedicated SEND provision supporting pupils with a range of complex needs.

The school is looking to appoint a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant on a long-term supply basis from 1st September. The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will work within the school's SEND provision, supporting children with a range of complex needs, helping to deliver tailored learning activities, encouraging independence and working closely with teaching staff to ensure every pupil achieves their individual goals.

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience supporting children with SEND, including pupils with complex needs
• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
• A patient, caring and adaptable approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
