Senior Building Surveyor

Conrad Consulting is working with a leading property and construction consultancy to recruit an experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join its growing Building Consultancy team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Building Surveyor with a strong background in the education sector, who enjoys managing projects from inception through to completion and is looking to take ownership of a varied portfolio of work.

You'll be based from the London office while delivering projects across the South West, including Reading, Portsmouth and Plymouth. Regular travel will be required, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with clients on-site.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing education sector projects and minor works programmes.
• Delivering projects from feasibility through to completion.
• Contract administration and project management.
• Preparing specifications, schedules of work and tender documentation.
• Building strong relationships with education clients and stakeholders.
• Undertaking site inspections and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

• Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline.
• MRICS qualified or working towards chartership is desirable.
• Proven experience delivering education sector projects.
• Strong background managing minor works and refurbishment projects.
• Excellent project management and client-facing skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the South West.

• Salary of £60,000 - £65,000.
