City of London | Hybrid working | £80,000–£95,000 + performance bonus

The opportunity would suit an experienced Senior Building Surveyor ready to progress, or an Associate-level surveyor who wants greater visibility and influence within a growing consultancy.

The role

Your work will include:

• Dilapidations, acting for both landlords and tenants

• Technical due diligence and pre-acquisition surveys

• Contract administration and project management

• Design, specifications and schedules of work

• Building pathology and defect diagnosis

• Reinstatement cost assessments

• Commercially focused reports and client advice

• Managing and developing key client relationships

• Supporting business development and networking

• Mentoring and supporting junior surveyors

About you

You will need:

• MRICS status

• A minimum of three years’ post-qualified experience

• Commercial building surveying experience gained within a private practice or consultancy

• Strong experience across both professional and project instructions

• Competence in dilapidations, technical due diligence, contract administration and defect diagnosis

• Excellent report-writing and communication skills

• A confident, credible and commercial client-facing approach

• An interest in business development and contributing to the growth of the practice

• The ability to manage instructions independently while working collaboratively with the wider team
