The opportunity would suit an experienced Senior Building Surveyor ready to progress, or an Associate-level surveyor who wants greater visibility and influence within a growing consultancy.
The role
Your work will include:

Dilapidations, acting for both landlords and tenants
-
Technical due diligence and pre-acquisition surveys
-
Contract administration and project management
-
Design, specifications and schedules of work
-
Building pathology and defect diagnosis
-
Reinstatement cost assessments
-
Commercially focused reports and client advice
-
Managing and developing key client relationships
-
Supporting business development and networking
-
Mentoring and supporting junior surveyors
About you
You will need:

MRICS status
-
A minimum of three years’ post-qualified experience
-
Commercial building surveying experience gained within a private practice or consultancy
-
Strong experience across both professional and project instructions
-
Competence in dilapidations, technical due diligence, contract administration and defect diagnosis
-
Excellent report-writing and communication skills
-
A confident, credible and commercial client-facing approach
-
An interest in business development and contributing to the growth of the practice
-
The ability to manage instructions independently while working collaboratively with the wider team
