Senior Contract Surveyor (CSA/Civils)

We’re looking for a highly experienced Senior Contract Surveyor to oversee all commercial and contractual aspects of civil and structural works within a major construction project. This role is ideal for a commercially driven professional with proven expertise in cost control, procurement, and contract administration across CSA packages. Client Overview
Our client is a prominent construction organisation with a strong track record in delivering complex civil engineering and structural projects to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all commercial aspects of civil and structural packages (CSA) from pre-construction through to completion
  • Prepare, negotiate, and administer sub-contract and supplier agreements
  • Monitor project costs, valuations, and cash flow, producing accurate financial forecasts
  • Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities to maximise profitability
  • Oversee cost reporting, interim valuations, and final accounts to ensure compliance with contract obligations
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, site teams, and stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes
  • Ensure adherence to all contractual terms and relevant standards
Must-have Requirements
  • Proven track record as a Quantity Surveyor or Contract Surveyor with experience in CSA/civil works
  • Strong understanding of NEC or JCT contract forms
  • Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain high professional standards
  • Proficiency in cost management software and standard Microsoft applications
