Location: Crewe, Cheshire (Hybrid Working - 60% Onsite)
Pay Rate: £33.69 per hour PAYE
Duration: Until November 2027

This is an exciting opportunity to join Bentley Motors and play a key role in supporting vehicle programmes, product enhancements and special edition projects within one of the world's most iconic luxury automotive manufacturers.

Working within a collaborative project environment, you'll act as the vital link between project teams and cost management functions, helping to ensure key programme deliverables are achieved on time, risks and opportunities are effectively managed, and material cost targets remain on track.

This role offers excellent exposure across multiple product lines, working closely with engineering, finance, purchasing and project stakeholders to support high-profile automotive projects from concept through to delivery.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Project Cost Engineer, you will:

• Support material cost planning, tracking and reporting across multiple vehicle programmes.
• Act as the key liaison between project teams and cost management stakeholders.
• Coordinate project deliverables and ensure activities are completed accurately and on time.
• Manage and communicate project risks and opportunities.
• Support cost target setting and monitor performance against agreed objectives.
• Produce high-quality reports, presentations and management information packs.
• Support key project milestone and gateway reviews.
• Analyse large volumes of technical, commercial and financial data to support decision-making.
• Influence and challenge stakeholders to drive project outcomes and resolve issues effectively.

What We're Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience

• Experience in Cost Engineering, Cost Analysis, Project Controls, Project Coordination or a related discipline.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience managing risks, opportunities and project deliverables.
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets.
• Ability to produce clear and concise reports for senior stakeholders.
• Understanding of engineering drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), manufacturing processes or technical product data.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Automotive, aerospace, manufacturing or engineering sector experience.
• Cost engineering or product cost management experience.
• Experience with Business Objects, BI tools, reporting platforms or data visualisation software.
• Commercial, procurement or supply chain experience
• Project management experience within a technical environment
• Understanding of how component and manufacturing costs are generated and managed.
