The Role
As a Senior CS&A Engineer, you will be responsible for leading civil and structural design efforts across multiple projects, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Your role will include preparing technical documentation, verification of safety case inputs, and oversight of design calculations. You will mentor junior engineers, liaise with clients and regulators, and contribute to project planning and risk management. Your daily activities will involve producing and checking technical reports, managing deliverables, and ensuring designs meet nuclear safety, cybersecurity, and quality standards.
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
- Chartered or near Chartered Engineer status with a relevant professional body.
- Extensive knowledge of civil engineering principles and design standards.
- Proven experience with finite element modelling and software validation.
- Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and BIM tools.
- Ability to simplify complex problems and articulate technical information clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality technical deliverables and manage project deadlines.
