Kirkland Associates is recruiting for an engineering consultancy specialising in the energy sector. We are seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to support the design of high-pressure pipeline and associated plant systems.
This opportunity would suit an experienced electrical design engineer who enjoys technically challenging projects, working collaboratively and taking responsibility for delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
Senior Electrical Design Engineer - The Role:
- Produce electrical designs, calculations, specifications and technical reports.
- Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects within agreed budgets and timescales.
- Attend client meetings, design reviews and safety assessments.
- Support equipment selection, procurement and project estimates.
- Visit sites when required and support the development of colleagues.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Chartered Engineer or actively working towards chartership.
- Electrical design experience within utilities, pipelines or a related industrial sector.
- Good working knowledge of BS 7671 and associated standards.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
