Senior Environmental Permitting Consultant

My Client, a market leading Environmental and Hydrogeological Consultancy, based in Tamworth is searching for a Senior Environmental Permitting Consultant to join their team. 

Candidates are required to have an academic background in Geology, Geography or Environmental Management and experience working for a UK based Consultancy completing environmental permitting, environmental regulation and environmental consents.  

Report writing experience and experience completing permitting for Quarries and Landfill sites.  

A good understanding of environmental legislation and environmental policies covered by The Environment Agencies and Government Bodies.  

You will be required to work mainly from the office and a driving licence is required to attend site visits across the region.  

As a Senior Environmental Permitting Consultant, you will join a specialist team based in Tamworth.  You will be required to complete; 

-Environmental permit applications. 

-Environmental permits for landfill, waste management, quarries and mineral extraction. 

-Environmental planning support for mineral extraction and quarrying. 

-Environmental monitoring and compliance. 

-Water abstraction licencing and discharge consents.  

This role offers hybrid working and site visits to quarries and landfill sites across the region.
