Are you an experienced Estimator looking to play a key role in delivering major infrastructure and energy projects across the UK?

Our client is a leading engineering and infrastructure organisation delivering critical projects across the utilities, power, renewable energy and civil infrastructure sectors. Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are seeking a Senior Estimator to join their expanding commercial team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-value projects, influence bid strategy and contribute to the successful delivery of essential national infrastructure.

As Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a range of infrastructure and engineering projects from initial tender through to final submission.

Key responsibilities include:

• Producing detailed estimates and cost plans for utilities, power and infrastructure projects
• Reviewing tender documentation, drawings and specifications
• Developing pricing strategies and supporting bid submissions
• Liaising with operations, engineering, commercial and procurement teams
• Obtaining and evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations
• Identifying project risks, opportunities and value engineering solutions
• Supporting negotiations and client presentations where required
• Maintaining estimating databases and benchmarking information
• Contributing to continuous improvement within the estimating function

We are keen to speak with Estimators who have experience within infrastructure, utilities, energy, power, transmission & distribution, civil engineering or related sectors.

You will ideally have:

• Proven experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator
• Strong understanding of construction, infrastructure or engineering projects
• Experience preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
• Excellent commercial awareness and analytical skills
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office
• Full UK driving licence

• Experience within utilities, power, renewable energy or major infrastructure projects
• Quantity Surveying, Engineering or Construction-related qualifications
• Knowledge of NEC contracts
