£65,000–£120,000 + Bonus + Benefits | Reading | Predominantly Office Based

Facade Engineer opportunity with a leading specialist in architectural glazing, structural steel, facades and balustrades, supplying bespoke systems to major UK residential contractors and developers. No one project is the same.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced facade engineering project professionals to manage multiple projects from design and engineering through to manufacture and delivery.

This is a technically focused, client-facing role involving:

• Design coordination and technical project management
• Assessing buildability and technical feasibility
• Value engineering and design optimisation
• Coordinating clients, designers, engineers, QSs and installation subcontractors
• Organising & Coordinating site installations
• Managing project programmes, technical issues and delivery
• Client meetings and occasional site inspections

Background

Candidates from Facades, Architectural Glazing, Structural Glazing, Structural Steel, Fenestration, Cladding, Architectural Metalwork, Metal Fabrication or Building Envelopes will be considered.

The key requirement is experience coordinating technically complex projects through design, engineering and manufacture, with a good understanding of installation and construction.

Package:

• £70,000–£120,000 basic ( DoE)

Based in Reading & from Home – predominantly office based with client visits and site inspections.
