Senior Family Solicitor

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Family Solicitor to join a growing Family Law team where you will take ownership of a varied and complex caseload, work closely with senior colleagues and play an important role in the continued development of the department.

This is a role suited to an ambitious solicitor who is confident handling their own matters, enjoys a high level of autonomy and is looking for genuine progression within a supportive team.

The Role

You will handle a broad range of Family and Children Law matters across both private and public law, including complex cases involving domestic abuse, child protection and court proceedings.

About You

You will have:

• Strong experience managing your own Family Law caseload
• Excellent knowledge of Legal Aid and CCMS processes
• Good advocacy and court experience
• Experience dealing with complex and sensitive family matters
• Experience supervising or mentoring more junior colleagues
• Good commercial awareness and an understanding of billing and targets
• A proactive approach to business development and networking
• Children Panel accreditation, or a genuine interest in working towards accreditation, would be highly desirable
