  • Integrating GNC algorithms, computer vision and GNC hardware with the wider spacecraft platform.
  • Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure GNC performance and system compatibility.
  • Planning and executing GNC subsystem verification and testing.
  • Leading GNC subsystem review gates and contributing to wider mission reviews.
  • Conducting research into emerging GNC technologies, algorithms and hardware.
  • Performing subsystem-level design, analysis and technical trade-offs.
  • Supporting GNC algorithm development, hardware selection and integration for RPO missions.
  • Contributing to GNC software architecture and operational flight software solutions.
  • Working with customers and suppliers to define requirements and develop technical solutions.
  • Supporting technical and programme leadership.

About You

You should have:
  • A Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a relevant engineering/science discipline.
  • 5+ years' experience in a GNC-related engineering role.
  • Intermediate-level MATLAB/Simulink experience.
  • Strong understanding of GNC subsystem architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with most of the following:
    • GNC requirements derivation and verification
    • Control law and navigation algorithm development
    • Translating algorithms into operational flight software
    • GNC hardware integration and testing
