We're recruiting for a newly created Senior HR Advisor position at a key operational site in Leominster. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business undergoing significant growth, where HR plays a central role in supporting operational success, organisational change, and employee engagement.
As part of a collaborative HR team, you'll partner closely with leaders across the business, providing expert HR support while helping to shape people initiatives during an exciting period of expansion.
The Opportunity
This role has been created to provide dedicated HR support to a growing site that has become a major focus for the wider business. You'll report directly into the HR Director and work closely with managers and stakeholders across the organisation, delivering a proactive and commercially focused HR service.
We're looking for a true HR generalist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing operational HR responsibilities with involvement in wider strategic projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers and employees.
- Manage a range of complex employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance matters.
- Support organisational change initiatives, restructures and business growth projects.
- Coach and develop managers on HR best practice and employment legislation.
- Lead and support employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, development and retention initiatives.
- Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement activities.
- Review and develop policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practice.
- Support recruitment and talent acquisition activities where required.
- Maintain accurate HR records, reporting and people data.
- Deliver training, workshops and guidance on key HR topics.
We're keen to speak with experienced HR professionals who can demonstrate:
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience).
- Strong employee relations experience with the ability to manage complex cases confidently.
- Solid knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Experience supporting organisational change and business growth.
- Excellent coaching, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience using HR systems and producing HR reports.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with strong commercial awareness.
