Salary: £70,000 - £85,000 plus car and package
We're supporting a well-established, multi-site organisation looking to appoint an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to play a key role in the evolution of its people function.
This is an opportunity to join a business that has strong foundations but is ready to take the next step. Reporting to the Head of HR, you'll lead and develop the HR Business Partnering team, helping to shift the function from a reactive support service to a commercially focused, strategic business partnering model.
You'll work closely with senior leaders to shape people strategy, strengthen leadership capability and introduce initiatives that drive long-term organisational performance. This is a role for someone who enjoys building capability, challenging thinking and leaving a lasting legacy.
Key responsibilities- Lead, coach and develop the HR Business Partner team into a true strategic partnering function.
- Partner with senior leaders to align people strategy with business objectives.
- Introduce strategic workforce planning, ensuring the business is planning for future capability rather than reacting to change.
- Develop talent management and succession planning frameworks to build internal capability and future leadership pipelines.
- Drive a high-performance culture through leadership development, performance management and increased accountability.
- Use people data and commercial insight to influence business decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support organisational change and transformation initiatives across the business.
- Build credibility with senior stakeholders, providing pragmatic advice and constructive challenge.
You'll be an experienced Senior HR Business Partner or HR leader who has successfully operated in a commercially focused environment.
You'll bring:
- Experience leading and developing HR Business Partners.
- A proven ability to build strategic relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Strong experience of workforce planning, talent management and succession planning.
- A track record of developing leadership capability and embedding high-performance cultures.
- Experience leading organisational change and influencing behavioural change.
- A commercial, pragmatic approach with the confidence to challenge and influence at all levels.
- Ideally you will have worked in a unionised environment.
