Built strong hydraulic modelling experience and ready to take the lead on more complex projects while staying close to the technical work?

This Dublin role combines hands-on modelling with greater responsibility for project delivery, technical review and clients. You'll work on flood risk and hydraulic modelling projects across renewables, infrastructure, power, industrial and built environment sectors.

The Role

You'll be involved in:

* Leading hydraulic modelling and flood risk studies
* Working with TUFLOW, including ESTRY, and Flood Modeller
* Technically reviewing modelling work and outputs
* Delivering projects from planning through to detailed design
* Managing projects, clients and key stakeholders
* Preparing technical reports and presenting modelling findings
* Supporting and mentoring less experienced modellers
* Contributing to proposals and wider project opportunities
* Occasional site visits across Ireland and the UK

You'll also gain exposure to water quality, sediment transport and major green energy infrastructure projects, working alongside specialists across environmental, planning and engineering disciplines.

About You

You'll ideally have 5+ years' experience delivering hydraulic modelling projects within Ireland and/or the UK, backed by a degree in Civil Engineering, Hydrology, Environmental Engineering or a related discipline.

You'll need strong TUFLOW, including ESTRY, and Flood Modeller experience, alongside GIS capability and knowledge of Flood Planning Guidelines and relevant Irish hydraulic modelling standards.

You'll also bring project management and stakeholder experience, strong technical reporting skills and the ability to support less experienced team members.

Chartered status, or actively working towards Chartership, is required, together with a full driving licence valid in Ireland.
