Senior IFA Administrator | Career Progression

Our client is a well-established and expanding Financial Planning firm looking for an experienced IFA Administrator to join its close-knit team.

Supporting experience Financial Adviser's, you will also work closely with the Managing Director, taking ownership of the full client administration process. This is a senior role for someone who is confident, organised and capable of working independently. You’ll also work alongside an experienced Paraplanner and have the support of a Junior Administrator.

The Role

You’ll take responsibility for a varied portfolio of client administration, including:

  • Managing new business, onboarding, annual reviews and ongoing client servicing.
  • Processing investments, withdrawals, fund switches and platform instructions.
  • Managing Letters of Authority and provider transfers from start to finish.
  • Maintaining accurate client records using Plannr CRM.
  • Preparing review documentation and coordinating client meetings.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients, providers and platforms.
  • Supporting model portfolio rebalancing following reviews, investments and withdrawals.
  • Providing wider administrative support across the business.
  • Over time, supporting annual review reports, straightforward client recommendations and maintaining financial plans using Voyant.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll ideally have:

  • Over 2 years’ experience within an IFA or Financial Planning firm.
  • A solid understanding of the financial advice process, including pensions, ISAs, investment bonds and investment platforms.
  • Experience with AJ Bell, Aviva or Transact would be beneficial.
  • Voyant experience would be an advantage.
  • Excellent organisation, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A proactive, professional and personable approach.

CII qualifications are advantageous but not essential. The firm is committed to professional development and will fund relevant industry qualifications and exams.
