Your new role

Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Investment

• Partner with development, investment and commercial teams to assess the financial viability of new data centre developments and expansion opportunities.
• Conduct investment appraisals, including NPV, IRR, scenario planning and sensitivity analysis, to support capital allocation decisions.
• Provide financial insight and commercial challenges for major infrastructure investment opportunities.
• Review financing structures, funding strategies and capital deployment across a portfolio of projects.
• Evaluate the commercial impact of customer contracts, utilisation assumptions and revenue drivers on asset performance.
• Maintain and enhance business cases, incorporating updated market assumptions, actual performance and funding changes.
• Monitor asset performance against investment objectives and original valuation assumptions.
• Deliver clear financial analysis and recommendations to senior management, executive committees and board stakeholders.
• Support interactions with lenders, investors and capital partners through robust financial analysis, reporting and investment materials.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience within infrastructure, real estate, or asset-intensive investment environments, with strong exposure to project finance and investment appraisal.
• A solid understanding of valuation principles and methodologies, with the ability to assess assumptions and provide commercial challenge.
• Proven experience reviewing and interpreting financial models, identifying key drivers, risks, and opportunities to support investment decisions.
• Strong investment appraisal experience, including evaluating project feasibility, returns, and capital allocation opportunities.
• Working knowledge of financial modelling. Advanced model-building expertise is not required, but you must be comfortable reviewing model outputs and challenging underlying assumptions.
• Demonstrable experience supporting investment decisions across multiple projects, portfolios, or geographies.
• The ability to connect project finance, valuation, and commercial analysis to provide clear recommendations to stakeholders.
