About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager to provide operational leadership across a portfolio of high-volume services within a large and complex organisation.

This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven leader to support service performance, lead improvement initiatives, and help drive organisational objectives during a period of change and transformation.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will ensure services operate effectively, meet key targets, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership across multiple operational services and teams.
• Support, develop, and manage Service Managers and operational leads.
• Monitor performance against operational targets and service standards.
• Lead performance improvement and recovery programmes.
• Manage operational risks, challenges, and escalation processes.
• Support strategic objectives and service development initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with governance, policy, and regulatory requirements.
• Analyse operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Lead operational projects and quality improvement activities.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across a range of functions.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Significant senior operational management experience within a large, complex organisation.
• Experience managing multiple teams, services, and stakeholder groups.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• A proven track record of delivering service improvements and performance recovery.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and manage competing priorities.
