WE'RE HIRING: SENIOR / PRINCIPAL TOWN PLANNER
Location: Bristol
Salary: £38,000-£50,000, depending on experience
Are you an experienced Town Planner looking for your next career move? An established planning and design consultancy in Bristol is looking to expand its team with a talented Senior / Principal Town Planner.

REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant degree in Town Planning or a related discipline.
- MRTPI qualified or working towards chartership, depending on experience.
- Previous experience within a planning consultancy or local authority.
- Strong knowledge of UK planning legislation, policy and development management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience engaging with clients, stakeholders and local planning authorities.
- A proactive and commercially aware approach to planning and development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing and delivering planning applications from initial instruction through to determination.
- Preparing planning statements, reports and supporting documentation.
- Advising clients on planning policy, development potential and planning strategy.
- Liaising with local planning authorities, consultants and key stakeholders.
- Managing client relationships and supporting business development activities.
- Coordinating multidisciplinary project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Providing planning advice across a range of development projects.
- For Principal-level candidates, taking a lead role in project delivery, mentoring colleagues and contributing to the growth of the planning team.
