At Browne, our people are at the heart of everything we do. We're looking for an experienced Senior Plant Coordinator to join our Plant & Transport team and play a key role in ensuring our projects have the plant and equipment they need to deliver safely, efficiently, and on time.

About the Role

As a Senior Plant Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the hire and off hire of plant and equipment across the business, ensuring operational and project requirements are met efficiently. You'll work closely with project teams, operational managers, and suppliers to maximise plant utilisation, control costs, and maintain high service standards. The role also involves supporting project mobilisation, monitoring supplier performance, maintaining compliance records, analysing utilisation and cost data, and identifying opportunities to improve operational performance. You'll act as a key point of contact for complex plant-related issues while helping ensure all statutory documentation, servicing requirements, and compliance obligations are maintained.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience within plant hire, plant coordination, logistics, or asset management.
  • Good understanding of plant and equipment used within utilities, civil engineering, or infrastructure environments.
  • Experience coordinating plant requirements across multiple projects and workstreams.
  • Knowledge of supplier management, performance monitoring, and cost control.
  • Familiarity with LOLER requirements and plant compliance processes.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and plant management systems such as Dynamics 365.
  • Water industry experience or knowledge of water and wastewater operations would be advantageous.
