The Role
As a Senior Process Engineer, you will be responsible for producing a comprehensive set of process engineering deliverables to support hazard identification activities at a feasibility (+) level of maturity. Your daily tasks will include engaging with project leads to understand expectations, complying with all applicable engineering standards, and delivering high-quality documentation. You will work on producing process overview reports, process basis of design, block diagrams, process flow sheets, activity sequence diagrams, mass and energy balances, and detailed process flow diagrams.
You will be supported by a collaborative team environment, with opportunities to influence project outcomes through technical expertise and proactive engagement.
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
- Proven experience in process engineering within a safety-critical environment
- Extensive knowledge of process documentation standards, including process overview, flow sheets, and energy balances
- Familiarity with hazard identification processes and safety standards
- Strong analytical and technical skills with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, with on-site engagement at AWE 3-4 days per week
- Security clearance (DV clearance) or the ability to obtain it
