Procurement Specialist – Greenvolt Next Ireland

We are currently seeking a Procurement Specialist to support the efficient sourcing and delivery of materials and services across our projects.

Location: Warrington (office-based)
Applicants must be willing to work from the office.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities for materials, equipment and services
• Negotiate supplier agreements, pricing and commercial terms
• Support contract management and order fulfilment processes
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships
• Conduct market analysis to ensure cost-effective sourcing
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure quality standards are met
• Support project teams by ensuring timely procurement delivery
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive value improvements

Strategic & Commercial Focus

• Lead supplier sourcing, evaluation and selection processes
• Support development of procurement and contracting strategies
• Ensure alignment with company standards and commercial targets
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across projects and regions

Requirements

• Relevant third-level degree or equivalent experience
• Experience in procurement within construction, engineering, or energy sectors
• Strong understanding of contract management and tendering processes
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Strong commercial awareness and cost focus
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
• Team-oriented with strong organisational skills
