Senior Project Manager

Conrad Consulting is working with a world-renowned, design-led multidisciplinary practice to recruit an experienced Senior Project Manager for its London studio.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced Project Manager to take the lead on major, complex projects across Europe and the Middle East, working alongside some of the industry's leading architects, designers and engineers.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio including transport, government, commercial, residential and large-scale mixed-use developments.

As Senior Project Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving projects from early concept through to successful delivery. You'll work closely with clients and multidisciplinary design teams to manage programme, budgets, scope, risk and commercial performance, while ensuring the highest standards of design and project delivery.

You'll be responsible for:

• Leading the successful delivery of major, complex projects.
• Taking ownership of project programme, budgets, fees, scope and commercial performance.
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinating multidisciplinary teams across architecture, urban design, engineering, interiors and sustainability.
• Working closely with design and technical leaders to ensure projects are coordinated, buildable and deliver exceptional quality.
• Identifying and managing project risks, challenges and opportunities.
• Supporting business development and contributing to the acquisition of new work.
• Providing leadership, mentoring and guidance to developing project management professionals.
• Maintaining strong relationships across international teams, clients and stakeholders.

We're looking for an established Senior Project Manager / Project Director with significant experience delivering large-scale, complex projects.

You'll ideally have:

• 10+ years' experience in project management within the built environment.
• Proven experience leading large-scale, complex construction or architectural projects.
• Experience working across Europe and/or the Middle East is highly desirable.
• A background in one or more of the following sectors: transport, government, commercial, residential or large-scale mixed-use development.
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary design environment.
• Excellent client-facing, communication and leadership skills.
• Strong commercial, programme and risk management experience.
• The ability to lead and motivate large interdisciplinary teams.
• An understanding of the complete project lifecycle, from winning new work through to completion.
• Professional architectural qualification/licence is preferred but not essential.
