Senior Project Manager - NEC Contract & Programme Management in London

Our client is a thriving, leading and independent construction and property consultancy, trusted by some of the UK's most prestigious public and private sector clients.

Following continued growth and baed within Central London, they are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager with strong NEC and programme management expertise to lead the delivery of high-profile, security-sensitive and infrastructure-led projects for clients including HM Security, the Ministry of Defence, Transport for London and the AWE.

This is a contract-led, multi-faceted role, so no two days are the same. You'll act as the trusted commercial and programme lead on projects where robust NEC administration and rigorous programme control decide the outcome, working closely with some of the industry's most experienced Directors and Partners.

You will:

• Act as Lead Project Manager under NEC3/NEC4 ECC and PSC contracts, managing Early Warnings, Compensation Events, notices and payment certification

• Review and accept contractor programmes, monitor progress against baseline and manage critical path risk

• Advise clients on contractual strategy, procurement routes and commercial risk

• Manage budgets, forecasting and change control alongside the cost management team

• Lead and mentor project managers and assistant project managers

• Build strong relationships with clients, contractors and stakeholders at senior level

You will have:

• Significant Project Management experience in the built environment, ideally in consultancy

• Strong, demonstrable NEC experience (NEC4 PM accreditation desirable)

• Proven programme management ability, including critical path analysis and delay/EOT assessment

• Experience delivering for defence, secure, transport or other regulated clients

• A relevant degree, with MRICS, APM or equivalent desirable

• Eligibility for security clearance (existing SC advantageous)
